DTN Guardian3™ Helps Europe Automate Terminals

Barb Farrell, Director of Product Delivery and Coy Pierce, DTN Automation Systems Manager participated in the DCM-EMBA User Conference in Belgium this fall. Over 20 terminal operators attended from Belgium and the Netherlands. Everyone was surprised to learn about the large scope of DTN in regards to overall revenue and number of vertical industries served.

European customers were introduced to remote terminal management, DTN TABS terminal allocation controls, customer portal communications components, digital BOL signature capture devices and new terminal monitoring systems from DTN. Topics also included best practices for the DTN Guardian3 (DTN G3) terminal automation system, as well as an interactive customer advisory board with European terminal operators. The customer advisory session went well with some good ideas that will be included in upcoming product releases.  

Terminal Visits:
Barb and Coy had an opportunity to visit three terminals, and also spent a day with DCM sales staff reviewing DTN G3 functionality and features. Coy also spent a day with their technical people reviewing the system and providing in-depth product training.
