DTN Appoints New, Full-Time Dairy Analyst to Newsroom

Rick Kment will provide dairy industry with valuable insight and information on dairy markets

OMAHA, NEB. (March. 30, 2005) — DTN, a leading business-to-business provider of real-time information services, today announced that Rick Kment has accepted the position of Dairy Analyst for DTN.  This new position underscores DTN’s commitment to providing the dairy industry with the highest quality content and perspective.

Kment will play a major role in producing and shaping dairy content for DTN.  He will write dairy-market commentary for DTN Dairy™ and will contribute to other writings on current events and other dairy news.  Kment will also serve as an expert on DTN’s panel at various public events and will travel to tradeshows across the United States to promote the DTN Dairy brand and to share his knowledge of the dairy industry.

Kment brings significant and broad-based experience in the dairy industry to his new position. Prior to joining DTN, he worked as a dairy production specialist, liquid feed specialist and livestock production specialist for Land O’ Lakes/Farmland Feeds. Kment also has experience managing his own farm.  He graduated from the University of Nebraska with an MBA in agribusiness.  Prior to that, he earned an undergraduate degree in animal science from Kansas State University.
