What is your role at DTN?

Staff meteorologist, mostly work in graphics drawing fronts around the world.

How did you end up working at DTN?

I grew up only 10 minutes away from the Burnsville, Minnesota office, so it was a good fit for me to apply for a job here!

How long have you been with DTN?

Since May 2017

What is your favorite part about being in MetOps?

All the people I get to work with.

What is the most challenging part of being in MetOps?

The rotating shifts and working weekends/holidays.

What is the craziest weather event you’ve experienced personally?

White-out blizzard conditions up at my cabin when I was a kid.

What is the craziest weather event you’ve helped a client with?

Answering blog questions about a strong system for the northeast last Fall.

What has been your most exciting day on the job?

When hurricane Irma approached Florida.

What is one weather myth you always correct people on?

Do not go to an underpass during a tornado!
