Download and Install the Latest Version of DTN ProphetX

If you are on a corporate network environment, please ensure that you have authorization and the required administrative rights on your computer before downloading the upgrade. You may need to check with your corporate IT department before downloading.

NOTICE:
DTN ProphetX (versions 3.16 and later) no longer install/run on a Windows® XP machine.
Neither Microsoft nor DTN continue to support Vista.

System Requirements

ProphetX Minimum system spec:

  • Processor – Intel i3 or equivalent (2 GHZ or better)
  • Minimum 4GB RAM
  • Broadband Internet connection (cable or DSL)
  • Windows 7 or 10
  • Windows 8.1*

ProphetX Recommended system spec

  • Processor – Intel Core i5 or i7 or equivalent ( 2.33 GHZ or better)
  • Minimum 8GB RAM
  • Broadband Internet connection (cable or DSL)
  • Windows 7 or 10
  • Windows 8.1*

* Windows 8.1 touch screen functionality is supported. However, ProphetX was not designed for a touch screen.
* Windows RT 8.1 is not compatible.
NOTE: Windows XP security updates were discontinued on 04/07/2014. Windows Vista security updates were discontinued on 4/11/2017.

Every quote server system may be different based on number of users, exchanges required and volume of incoming data, storage requirements, usage, etc.

Please contact DTN ProphetX® support and we can evaluate your system and make appropriate recommendations.

Firewall Configuration

Establishing a DTN ProphetX® Connection with a Firewall

When you use DTN ProphetX to connect to our Quote Servers over the Internet, certain IP ports are required to establish the connection. If you use a firewall to connect to the Internet, it must be configured such that the following outbound IP ports are not blocked.
