DTN Senior Leader Named to Esri’s Partner Advisory Council

DTN, a data, analytics and technology company, announced today that Mike Eilts, senior vice president–weather, has been named to Esri’s Partner Advisory Council (PAC). Eilts will participate in the PAC for three years and provide key input as Esri continues to develop partner programs.

“DTN has been an Esri partner for years, leveraging Esri’s powerful mapping and spatial data analytics to deliver critical weather data to our customers,” said Eilts. “I look forward to helping influence future partner programs on the creative and innovative ways that weather intelligence can improve entire industries.”

The PAC, established in 2010, serves as a Board of Directors for Partnering at Esri. This esteemed community is offered to a select number of partner thought leaders that meet rigorous criteria for nomination including senior leadership in their organization, current engagement in the partner ecosystem, a clear business strategy, and technology alignment with Esri. PAC members are committed to being advocates for the community and providing feedback and input on the strategic direction of the partner program in order to optimize how partners do business with Esri.

“Our PAC members are carefully selected to serve a very important role in our partner community,” said Robert Laudati, Director, Global Partners and Alliances. “As the voice of the Esri Partner Network, they provide valuable input and act as a sounding board on the development of our programs and have the responsibility to be representatives of Esri’s rapidly growing partner ecosystem. I’m pleased to welcome Mike Eilts to this position.”

In 2020, DTN received the 2020 Esri Creative Content Award for delivering creative content for ArcGIS users across utilities, offshore energy, and many other industries. The company has developed more than 130 weather layers that can be added to existing Esri maps in a scalable environment.
